Quotation & approval
Once your design is finalised, we provide a transparent quote outlining the full scope of work and timelines. We’re always upfront about costs — no hidden surprises.
Demolition & preparation
We carefully remove old fittings, tiles and fixtures — completed with care to minimise disruption to your home and leave a clean slate for the build.
Build & installation

How long does a bathroom renovation take?
Most bathroom renovations take 2–4 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the project. We confirm your timeline before work begins and keep you updated at every stage.
Do I need council approval?
Most like-for-like bathroom renovations don’t require council approval. Where structural changes or significant plumbing relocations are involved, certification may be needed — and we manage that entire process for you.
Can I use my bathroom during the renovation?
The bathroom being renovated is out of action during works, so we help you plan around a second bathroom or ensuite. We contain dust and disruption to the work area and leave your home tidy at the end of every day.
Do you offer design services?
Yes — design is where every Hasl Haus project begins. Our in-house designers develop your layout, finishes and lighting plan, so you can see your finished bathroom before committing to the build.
What's included in the quote?
Everything — design, demolition, waterproofing, plumbing, electrical, tiling, cabinetry, fixtures and finishing. One itemised, fixed quote with no hidden surprises on the day.
Do you provide waterproofing certificates?
Yes. All wet areas are waterproofed by licensed applicators to Australian Standard AS 3740, and you receive your waterproofing certificate at handover.
Can I choose my own fixtures and tiles?
Absolutely. We’ll guide you through selections from our trusted suppliers — or work with pieces you’ve already fallen in love with. Every material is checked for durability and suitability before it goes in.
Do you handle accessibility upgrades?
Yes. We design and build accessible and senior-friendly bathrooms — step-free showers, grab rails, non-slip surfaces and wider access — without compromising on how the room looks and feels.
What guarantees do you offer?
All work is completed by licensed trades, covered by QBCC home warranty insurance and backed by our own workmanship guarantee. We’re a family business — we stand behind every room we hand over.
Is there a best time of year to renovate a bathroom?
Bathroom renovations are interior works, so they can happen year-round. The main consideration is lead time — design and material selections take a few weeks, so it pays to book your consultation early.
